The Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE) uses data from KFS and allows users to generate reports and obtain data extracts. This page provides instructions for using Accounts Receivable reports available in IUIE.

- Invoice Payment History: Shows payments applied to a specific customer or a specific chart and organization.
- Customer Billing Statement: Returns one statement of payments due for each billing address used for a specific customer.

Invoice Payment History
There are two versions of this report:
- Invoice Payment History by Customer: Returns payments applied to the customer specified. Click here to access the IUIE report.
- Invoice Payment History by Chart-Organization: Returns payments applied to the chart and organization specified. Click here to access the IUIE report.
Both versions of this report contain the same parameters. You can specify a fiscal year, account number, and other common IUIE report parameters.
The parameters listed below are specific to these reports and impact how data is grouped and displayed on the resulting report.
Report-Specific Parameters
Chart/Org Type
- Accounting: Groups paid invoices based on the chart of account and/or organization code (called chart/org for short) of the account used on the invoice.
- Bill By: Groups paid invoices by the chart/org code of the person who created the invoice.
- Processing: Groups paid invoices based on the Processing Organization of the invoice.
Report Style
- Consolidated: If more than one org code (or no org code) is entered, this option summarizes information by customer.
- Detail: If more than one org code (or no org code) is entered, this option sorts the information first by org code, then by customer.
- Summary: Reports one total line for chart/org(s) entered.
Detail Level
- Customer: Amounts totaled by customer.
- Chart/Org: Amounts totaled by chart code and organization code.
- Document: Amounts reported by document then totaled by customer.
- Item: Reports each line item of an invoice, totaled by invoice, then totaled by customer.
Customer Billing Statement
This report returns one statement of payments due for each billing address used for a specific customer. Currently, this statement does not show any open credit memos. Click here to access the IUIE report.
Statements are generated as PDF documents that can be saved and emailed to the customer or printed and mailed to each individual billing address.
Use the Comment (max 1 line; no commas) field to enter up to 100 characters of text that will appear on each billing statement generated.

Report-Specific Parameters
The parameters listed below are specific to this report and impact how data is grouped and displayed on the resulting report.
ChartOrg Type
- Bill By: Select to enter chart/account information for a billing organization (such as your department).
- Processing: Select to enter chart/account information for a Processing Organization.
Show Amount Detail?: Check to include partial payments applied to each invoice.
Include Document Description?: Check to include text entered in the Description field when each KFS Invoice was created.
Include Days Old?: Check to include the number of days aged for each individual invoice.
